Make Spirits Bright – Give the Gift of Caring this Holiday Season
In celebration of the most wonderful time of year, the Kirby Foundation is kicking off a 12 Days of Giving campaign to raise awareness about the impact you can make with a donation to the Foundation.
We are grateful to our community for their willingness to support us in our mission to further community health resources and medical campus improvements.
Donation Spotlight: Kirby Derby
The Kirby Derby and Triathlon are a fun way to encourage physical exercise and promote healthy lifestyles in our communities. Kirby Medical Center relies on sponsorships from our community partners to sustain and enhance these annual events. We couldn’t do this without their support.
Community partnerships also make it possible for us to encourage and strengthen the opportunities for walking, running or biking on our recently expanded Wellness Trail. In 2023, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, over $14,000 in net proceeds from both the Derby and Triathlon supported the landscaping and maintenance of the Trail.
A special shout-out to this year’s premier sponsors – First State Bank of Monticello and State Bank of Bement. Together with the following sponsors, we’re making a difference in our communities: Animal Hospital of Monticello; Brandon J. Hissong, DMD; Burgess & Cline, Inc.; Commerce Bank; Eagle Recovery Associates, Inc; First Mid Bank & Trust; Koester Homes, Inc; Piatt County Farm Bureau; Subway; The Cancer Care Specialists of Illinois; and The Carle Foundation.
