Honoring Our Heroes
- Posted On:
Cancer is the leading cause of death among firefighters. While putting their lives on the line for our safety they put themselves at a higher risk for certain cancer than the general population.
On Tuesday June 25th from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, you have the chance to donate blood in honor of firefighters battling cancer.
This event is sponsored by Kirby Medical Center Women’s Auxiliary and Piatt County Firefighters Association.
The drive is being held in the Monticello community building in the library room.
For an appointment you can call 1 - 800 - 733 - 2767. Once your appointment is made, it is best to fill out your rapid pass before you get to the site to save 15 minutes or more during your visit!
After donating you will be able to get a $15 e-gift card and a free t - shirt!
Consider giving blood to honor our heroes.
