Kirby Auxiliary will be hosting a Gift Shop Open House on Friday and Saturday, November 8^th & 9^th with a Vendor Market on Friday evening. 🎅🎁🎄

All proceeds from the Kirby Gift Shop will help support the Kirby Equipment Fund. A percentage of the Vendor Market sales will help support the Thomas Dixon Memorial Program. 

The Vendor Market will consist of 6 regional vendors, 1 gift shop vendor and 2 fundraising vendors. They will be set up in and around the Community Outreach Room during the hours set on Friday night only. We will have “Thank You for Coming” Gift Drawing donated by these vendors at the end of Friday evening. The gift shop will be offering homemade cookies by our auxiliary volunteers and appetizers from Blue Dragonfly Catering as you shop.

Vendors Participating

1. Alto Vineyards - Champaign – They are bringing 6 different wines to sell by the bottle, sampling will be available to help with your selection
2. Sage City Market – Monticello - They will be offering cheese from Ropp Cheeses, Bloomington, IL and their own meat sticks for sale. Samples, all of which will be available for sale.
3. Libellula Blu, (Blue Dragonfly in Italian)- Monticello - This is the sister company to Blue Dragonfly Catering. Importing extra virgin olive oils from different regions of Italy, the oils are certified by the Italian government, organic and delicious! The balsamic vinegars come from Modena, Italy. The unique Lambrusco vinegar is made from Lambrusco wine in the Emilia-Romagna region. Although not a balsamic vinegar, it has its own special qualities! Libellula Blu also has 5 different spice blends for all your cooking needs!
4. Pies by Inge – Monticello - Tracy Bodine offers homemade pies, cookies, and cinnamon rolls
5. Del’s Popcorn Shop – Springfield - Popcorn in their favorite flavors will be the feature of the night.
6. Carmie’s Kitchen Gourmet Foods - Gourmet food manufacturer of dips, soups, cheesecake dips, bread dipping oils, and spice cider mixes will have samples of items we sell in the gift store for you to try and buy.
7. Lickskillet Soap Co – Mansfield - Tara Lofrano, a Kirby employee will be selling her handmade, Artisan, Goats Milk Soap which are beautifully designed individual sliced bars
8. See’s Candy – 100+ year old Californian Chocolate company – Candy Fundraiser - Boxes of Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolates containing creams, nuts or caramels, Peanut Brittle, Lollipops and more to order and receive by Thanksgiving - Samples will be available if you have never had the pleasure of tasting. Cash or Check will be the only type of payment, due when order placed.
9. O-H Danish Bakery – Racine, WI – Kringle Fundraising - It’s a Danish pastry made from dough that has butter folded in and many layers, making it light and fluffy. It’s packed with various fillings, such as fruits and/or nuts, before being baked to a golden brown and drizzled with icing. Kathy Keith is repeating this special treat we had for our successful Spring fundraiser. We will have samples available to taste and place orders for a delivery near Thanksgiving. Cash or Check will be the only type of payment, which is due when placing order.
